Both Sides

The idea of “both sides” has been argued many times, for hundreds of years, with regard to the political system known as democracy in america. In many ways, it is the same argument going back to Frederick Douglas and George Washington Carver. In short - work within the system or destroy the system.

By default, looking around, we can see that whether or not the debate is still ongoing, Carver - you - won. Seeing as how the system exists, obviously Douglas lost. Because of the loss, the status quo has altered the debate. It gives us “both sides” are the same vs. “harm mitigation”. This is false. This is an illusion.

There are two sides, they are not the same. One side, your side, includes the political system entire. The other side, my side, despises your failure and refuses to participate any further.

On your side, the government. On your side, Republicans and Democrats. On your side, Senators, House members, Presidents, Justices, et al. On your side, they are all the same. On your side, they require each other to exist. Reagan did not get elected in a vacuum. Reagan was elected because of Carter’s failures.

Carter wasn’t elected in a vacuum, Carter was elected because of Nixon. Nixon wasn’t elected in a vacuum, Nixon was elected because of LBJ’s failures. These people require each other to obtain the power they crave.

Whether or not they “believe” in different ideologies, those ideologies are dependent; they represent failure, each of the other.

Because they are accountable not to their failures, but to the failures of the other, neither can change. Why would they? They are not held accountable to their own failures

You say to yourself, I am mitigating harm. You say to yourself, these are two different parties. I give you questions.

Do you believe the dead Palestinians are grateful for your harm mitigation?

Do you believe that Biden and Harris’ tacit support for genocide hurt their campaign and by how much did she lose?

Because they are not held accountable for the failure of their campaign, they will just put another of them up. My god, they’ll make Gavin Newsom the candidate, or someone just like him. Should the elections by some miracle occur, according to the pattern he will win, or whomever will win, because Trump is so bad.

After that, Newsom and the Democrats’ time in power will be marked by failures on all fronts. Because of that failure, because of the promises made that were not delivered, the next round will be Republicans! Whaaaat? How could anyone possibly see this coming?

It is the pattern of American government and its utter failure. I refuse to participate. That is not a both sides argument. I am telling you this information: if you vote for Democrats without holding them accountable for their failures, then you are helping Republicans get elected: if you vote for Republicans without holding them accountable for their failures, you are helping Democrats get elected.

Your leaders are campaigning for each other. And you are giving them money.

I give you questions:

If the dead Palestinians, genocided by Israel and supported by Biden and Harris, influenced the election for Trump, isn’t it their failure that led to Donald Trump?

If the Palestinians died because of Biden and Harris, which led to Donald Trump, who murdered and caged and all kinds of harm, then what harm mitigation occurred?

If Biden and Harris are at fault for failure, then are they not responsible for the results of that failure? And if they are responsible, why would you vote for their successors?

Why would you vote for people who are helping Donald Trump get elected?

Both sides are not the same. You are not on my side. You are on their side. You are on team Democrat (today) and team Republican (in four to eight years) and they are on team Republican (today) and team Democrat (in four to eight years). It is foolish to reject that truth.

Now you know. I have told you. I am not making an argument, I am telling the truth. Therefore it is now your job to change your mind. If you do not then you are admitting to me you know you are electing republicans (in four to eight years) and that you are responsible for Republicans (in four to eight years), therefore you are also a Republican voter

That is not an argument. You can tell yourself whatever you want. You can vote for whomever you want. I am not advocating for a candidate. I am advocating for accountability. If you do not want to hold your own party accountable, then their inevitable failure will elect Republicans. Because you know this, then you are accountable for electing Republicans.

Trump is on you, not me. You. Them. Together.

This is not a “both sides are the same” argument. This is a call for you to change. Reject the arguments you’ve heard and absorbed your entire life. Reject them. Reject liars. Reject politicians. Reject them and we will be able to move forward.

If you choose them, know that you are choosing them all. And I am not on your side.
